Jáki templomSettlement of Ják was made famous by the roman-style church, which was bulit in the 13th century.

The church is standing on a table-land in the center of the village. The one-time Benedictine church was consecrated to the knight and martyr– called St. George – in the middle of the 13th century. Also a monostry belonged to the church. According to this building came the houses and a farm. The arrangement of the village was determined by the church.
